General Questions
What is the Eaglewood River Estate?
Eaglewood River Estate is a private, 13-acre luxury retreat in Sun Valley, Idaho, formerly the home of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steve Miller, who wrote “Wide River” as a tribute to the river that borders the property. Nestled between Eagle Creek and the Big Wood River, the estate features an iconic glass chapel with a custom stained glass window, sweeping lawns, expansive mountain views, and three guest cabins. The grounds accommodate outdoor weddings of more than 500 guests and indoor celebrations for 200–300, depending on the layout.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
Outdoor ceremonies and receptions can accommodate more than 500 guests. Indoor spaces, including the chapel, comfortably host 200–300 guests depending on your preferred setup.
Is the venue available year-round?
Yes. The estate is available throughout the year. Peak wedding season in Sun Valley spans approximately June through September. Winter weddings are beautiful and atmospheric but do require additional consideration for snow, ice, and potential tenting or weather accommodations.
Can we host both the ceremony and reception on the property?
Yes. The estate offers multiple indoor and outdoor locations that allow for a seamless flow from your ceremony to your cocktail hour and reception.
Do you host multiple events per day?
No. We host only one event at a time. Our site fee ensures that your celebration receives full, private, and exclusive use of the estate for a total of five days, with the option to extend your stay for an additional fee.
